The Fructuós Canonge International Magic Contest is an annual international competition for stage magicians held in Barcelona (Catalonia, Spain) as part of the Vila Màgica International Magic Festival. The contest honours the Catalan magician Fructuós Canonge (1824–1890), born in Montbrió del Camp.
This year 2026, we continue with the 2nd edition thanks to the collaboration with the Ajuntament de Barcelona, the Ajuntament de Montbrió del Camp & the International Federation of Magic Societies (FISM).
This is a contest open to both professionals & amateurs of 18 years old or more, and that counts with the collaboration and qualification of the FISM.
This year 2026, it will take place on October 8th at Sala Golem’S, and the deadline for registration is: September 15th 2026.

Participation in the International Gala of Vila Màgica 2026, on Sunday, October 11th.
(Hotel accommodation included for people coming from outside Catalonia, from thursday to saturday)
AUDIENCE AWARD
This prize will be decided by the people attending to the contest’s performance, celebrated on the afternoon, and will consist of:
- A kit of magic materials valued on €100 from El Rei de la Màgia shop
- A kit of magic materials valued on €100 from Mágicus shop
