The GIRAMAGIC company was born in 2012 from the creative union-fusion between Joana Rhein and Miquel Crespi.
Both artists, with a long career in the performing and visual arts, share the vision and experience that magic is a great poetic tool that has not been explored much in the contemporary performing world.
Together, Joana and Miquel embark on this challenging adventure of creating shows where magic, visual poetry, physical theater, puppets, dance and clowning come together to create a unique universe, which today, over the years, has evolved in research into this language, shaping their shows.
Miquel has more than 35 years of experience as a director, actor and screenwriter. He has worked with the companies La Cubana, Las Caligulas and Zootroupe and has participated in many television programs and productions. He has been a regular collaborator for many years with Clowns Without Borders and is a teacher of performance and creation.
Joana arrived in Barcelona from Brazil in 2009. She has trained in the field of visual arts and magic, and has a significant background as an experimental theater actress. In Catalonia she deepens her knowledge by fusing magic, dance, theater and visual poetry.
