There have been many people, associations, companies, entities and institutions with whom we have collaborated, who have supported us, and who have contributed to making so much magic possible in this 2nd edition! Some new, others returning… and last year we already made a lot of magic, but this year we have carried out a 2nd edition with even more activities than the first with:
A Magical dinner during the Festa Major de Gràcia in the Jardins de Manuel Torrente with 130 diners and other people who joined once it started.
A Magical and solidarity event prior to the festival in collaboration with Gràcia Solidària, also in the Jardins de Manuel Torrente, with 120 attendees of various ages.
Different dissemination events including close-up magic with magicians from the Associació Catalana d’Aficionats a l’Il·lusionisme (ACAI) at Travessera de Gràcia during the Fira del comerç al carrer, and through an information tent at Carrer Astúries with Gran de Gràcia…
The promotion of 2 magic workshops during the festival at the ACAI headquarters on Carrer d’en Grassot, and later at the El Coll – La Bruguera Civic Center, for a whole month…
and of course, the incredible 1st edition of the International Magic Contest in Barcelona – Fructuós Canonge, integrated into the 4 days of the Festival, possible only with the support of the Ajuntament de Montbrió del Camp and the Federation Internationale de Societats Màgiques (FISM).
In addition to all this, we have brought magic through 9 entities in the district and to different public spaces, with the intention of reaching the maximum number of people possible. The collaboration with the El Coll – La Bruguera Civic Center to carry out the free show by the gracienc Mag Ferbuch has been a success and the celebration of the proposed and daring introductory magic workshop is a good example of this. A collaboration that has allowed us to leave the Vila de Gràcia and perform in other points of the Gràcia district.
We have had the participation of up to 45 magicians, through different roles and activities and with up to 8 candidates for the prizes of the Fructuós Canonge International Magic Competition, all with a high level of magic, praised by the president of the jury and FISM Europe himself, Xavier Tapias.
We have enjoyed a 2nd edition with 12 different events in 4 days, which have been quite an organizational challenge, in terms of production, communication and technical management, only possible thanks to the work of so many volunteers involved in lending a hand.
Despite the complexity of what it entails, we have done it again. We have once again brought magic to Gràcia at popular prices and in high quality. «The best magic in the world» is the motto that encourages us and this year’s shows have been very well appreciated by the more than 150 people who have been encouraged to provide their improvement and evaluation comments, and who will enter the draw for 2 double tickets for the next edition of the festival.
Thank you. Thank you to each and every one of you for being part of it, for coming, for enjoying, for being open to the unique experience that each event represents and for making Gràcia and the city a more magical place. We have very clear that without you, it would not make sense.
